City of Wolverhampton Council’s wholly owned housing development company, WV Living, has opened two brand new show homes at The Marches, Lakefield Road, site of the former Wednesfield High School.
Visitors will have the chance to explore the fully furnished ‘Langley’, a four bedroomed townhouse and the ‘Hayes’, a three bedroomed townhouse. Built over three floors, both show homes have been beautifully designed showcasing stylish interiors.
The homes are being built by contractor Willmott Dixon and will see a mixture 266 homes on the development. There will be a mixture of 210 two-storey two-bedroom houses, two and three-storey three-bedroom and four-bedroom houses, and 56 two-bedroom apartments.
The development will include market sale, affordable housing for rent, Shared Ownership and Help to Buy properties.
Work started on-site late 2019 and is expected to be completed in Spring next year.
